Freshwater to Yarmouth and back

This easy flat walk follows the route of the former railway line.

Start at on Afton Road, Freshwater and follow the Public Bridleway F61 (opposite the entrance to Afton Recycling Centre).

 Follow the unmade track heading alongside the marsh until you reach Blackbridge Road and The Causeway (a stone road bridge crossing the river). Cross the road and continue on the unmade track with the River Yar on your left hand side.

 The track will lead you to Off The Rails Yarmouth (open Wednesday to Sunday). Once you have refueled at Off The Rails, follow the track back to Freshwater.
